Level 3 Swimmers Ages 6 +Tuesday & Thursday 9am8 Classes: July 22, July 24, July 29, August 31, August 5, August 7, August 12 & August 14Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Level 2Children will learn basic swimming skills such as floating and gliding on their front and back, kicking and arms for front crawl and back crawl, changing directions (front to back and back to front), treading water, and bubbles. This class is intended to begin acclimating new swimmers to the water, and decrease dependence on parents by having them work only with the instructors.
Level 3 Swimmers Ages 6 +Tuesday & Thursday 10am8 Classes: July 22, July 24, July 29, August 31, August 5, August 7, August 12 & August 14Stroke Development: Level 3Guided practice will help children improve their skills. Instructors will work with children to improve their front crawl, back crawl, floating and treading skills. Children will learn skills such as rotary breathing, survival floats, streamline, new kicks, elementary backstroke, and dives. This class continues to build on the fundamental skills, while transitioning towards more advanced techniques. It is recommended your child attains a high level of comfort in the water and with their skills before advancing past level 3.
